[Maya was fidgeting a little as she got her commlink to activate. She had been mulling over the dream she'd had the other night for a bit. It wasn't a lot to go on. But she couldn't shake it. And people might think she was crazy, but it didn't hurt to ask... right?]
Um. So. Hi. I was wondering. One of the first nights or so we were all here I had a really strange dream. There was a woman in a library in it. Well, maybe not a library, as it was blue and glowing, but still. It wasn't a memory or anything. She wasn't anyone I knew.
It stood out. It was... kind of like a vision? I have some experiences with those.
[She smiles nervously.]
I guess I was just wondering if anyone else had similar dreams. Maybe we could compare notes... you know?

Just not to be angry with him.

... she didn't tell me who "he" was though, or anything. Didn't answer any of my questions aside from what her name was. It sounds like we dreamed of the same lady.

[Maya frowned, trying to recall if there was anything else, but then she sighed. The dream was short, and the woman in it had been maddeningly vague.]
I don't know, did she tell you anything else? Anything different than she told me?

[Expereince with visions could mean one of several things. Best to find out which.]
[Because you got glimpses of the ghosts, their deaths, etc. Visions, memories. This dream had the quality of being both.]

[She'd never really been the best at channeling, but she wasn't about to tell Thrawn that!]
I see. I have heard stories of mystical abilities, but have not often been in a position to check their veracity.
[Her tone was teasing, even if it was true.]
What about you, Thrawn? Did you have any strange dreams?

Pajamas-lady got you too?
Huh. I wonder if she's around anywhere? Maybe if we can find her, we'd know more.
[At Axl's question, Maya blinks, before considering it.]
It's... possible. She might be around here and the dreams we had might have been her way of reaching out to us.
[He shrugged, reaching off-screen to fiddle with part of the speeder.]
I'm not really an expert in psychic friends or anything, but I'd imagine a transmission like that would have to originate somewhere nearby.. especially since we're moving around. She might be somewhere on board.
[Maya frowned slightly as she thought about it.]
But echoes are more like one-reel movies or something. So if it was something like that, we'd all be seeing the same thing. Like exactly the same thing.
[And yes, yes he did wiggle his fingers.]
[She was ignoring the bit about the ghost ship, Axl. And you could keep your finger wiggles.]

So I wasn't the only one who dreamed that? That's a relief. I thought I'd suffered some kind of glitch; that's not at all how programs usually dream.
[slight pause]
Do you think that woman is somewhere on the ship?
What usually happens when programs dream then?
[As to Clu's second question, Maya considered it. Axl had asked something similar.]
It's possible. I don't know where she'd be though. I don't know much about her aside from her name. If she's on the ship, we'd have to go looking for her.
Re: [Video]
[Well, you asked, Maya.]
Yeah, me neither. I've been doing some exploring myself, but I haven't found her. What is her name, by the way, since I didn't get it before she faded away?
So... you usually only dream your memories?
[This was a careful question, but she wanted to make sure. Complicated computer stuff was hard.]
Her name is Lorana. That was the most specific piece of information I got. Aside from that it was apologies, and asking me not to be angry at the mysterious "him." Whoever that is.
Re: [Video]
He nods a bit though.]
Yes, though it's rare we'll get any one coherent memory file. Usually it's just fragments shuffled together in a random order, though particularly intense ones- pleasant or unpleasant- tend to stand out and get shuffled in more often.
[Clu nods again, making a thoughtful noise.]
Yes. I tried to ask who 'he' was, but she just said that she had no time before the dream faded. I wonder if she'll try to contact us again?
That... doesn't sound that different than the way most people dream, sometimes. I mean, I know a guy who had the same nightmare every night for 15 years and it was a memory. Spirit mediums don't dream when we're channeling, but we dream other times.
[And hadn't that been fun to learn?]
She might contact us again. It seems like she gave everyone similar, if slightly different information. It's a possibility she's projecting these dreams to us. Because if they were... like an echo or a memory of her which can happen sometimes if a place is haunted by a memory of a person, we'd all be having the exact same dream.
